DRYDEN — Dryden earned a 44-10 win at visiting Owen-Gage's expense in a non-league varsity girls' basketball encounter last Friday night.

With the decision, Dryden goes to 9-2 this season.

In Friday's encounter, Dryden bolted out to a 9-0 advantage after one quarter had ended.

The team followed it up with a 12-4 second quarter edge and a 14-4 third quarter advantage, increasing their cushion to 35-8 with 24 minutes gone.

Dryden then outscored Owen-Gage 9-2 from that point on, putting the finishing touches on a 44-10 win.

Hannah Peyerk paced Dryden with a 12-point performance. She was backed by Natalie Poirier, Kelli Schenkel and Ally Sobek (six points each), Jordan Peters, Kylie DeVlaminck and Paige Abromaitis (four apiece) along with Ella Kage (two).

Dryden also received seven rebounds courtesy of Schenkel and five assists from Kage.
