DRYDEN — Dryden handed Lake Fenton a 51-36 setback in a non-league varsity boys' basketball encounter last Thursday night.

With the outcome, Dryden moves to 4-2 overall.

In Thursday's encounter, Dryden took a 7-4 edge after one quarter was done.

Dryden then followed it up with a 13-10 second quarter advantage, increasing their lead to 20-14 at the halftime break.

When the action resumed, Dryden picked up where it left off. Bolstered by a 15-8 third quarter, edge, the Cardinals pushed their cushion to 35-22.

Dryden then outscored Lake Fenton 16-14 from that point on, finishing off a 51-36 win.

For Dryden, Jack Kaplan led the way with a 23-point performance. Kaplan drained five triples along the way. The Cardinals also had Brady Czape (12 points, including a trifecta), Nate Schenkel (six), Kody Livingston (a triple), Ronny Hudson (three) along with Rylan Rudd and Coulter Waite (two each) reach the scoring column.
