Dryden sweeps North Huron foe

DRYDEN — Dryden returned from North Huron with 25-6, 25-21, 17-25, 25-10 win in a North Central Thumb League varsity volleyball matchup last Thursday.

Ella Kage was Dryden's primary playmaker. She wound up with 36 assists.

Natalie Poirier (15, including an ace), Kage (14) and Ally Sobek (13) furnished Dryden's highest point outputs.

Erin Boettcher (13), Sobek (six) and Madison Stofcheck (five) had Dryden's top kill totals.

Poirier (five) along with Jordan Peters, Ella Kage, Kelli Schenkel and Boettcher (three each) provided Dryden's highest dig outputs.

Schenkel (five) and Peters (one) added Dryden's blocks.
