DRYDEN — Dryden swept visiting Imlay City, 4-0 and 8-5, in a non-league varsity baseball doubleheader Monday afternoon.

In the opener, Jared Czape led Dryden with a two-hit performance. Ethan Rozanski, John DelCampo, Brady Czape and Jack Kaplan added a single each for the Cardinals.

Jared Czape, Hunter Gall, DelCampo and Rozanski shared the pitching responsibilities for the winning Dryden side. They allowed three total hits, struck out nine and walked three.

Andrew Nadrowski, Dawson Klein and Logan Wilson (one apiece) provided Imlay City's base hits.

In the second game, Dryden finished with 12 hits. Brady Czape, DelCampo, Rozanski and Gall led the way with two hits each, while Jared Czape, Brendan Biggs, Andrew Hawley and Kaplan added one apiece to the Cardinals' cause.

Dalton Raymond and Tyler Perria shared the pitching chores for Dryden. They gave up three total hits, retired one on strikes and issued four walks along the way.

Ross Edson and Ricky Guerrero (one each) supplied Imlay City's hits.
