IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City boys' track team halved a pair of Blue Water Area Conference dual encounters Tuesday, May 8 in Armada.
Pitted against the hosts, Imlay City claimed a 75-62 win.

11 feet 6 inches; Ryan Johnson, shot put (43 feet 3 inches) and discus (148 feet 3 inches); Vitor Bandeira, 110 (17.42 seconds)
and 300 (44.04 seconds); and Riley Bertram, 200-meter dash, 24.42 seconds; led Imlay City with individual firsts.
The Imlay City 400 (Brandon Goolsby, James Roulo, Bannister and Bertram), 1600 (Jacob Swartz, Zak Kustowski, Breydon Andrez and Bertram) and 3200 (Cole Broecker, Andrez, Kustowski and Swartz) notched top finishes as well. They registered respective clockings of 47.69 seconds, 3:42.2 and 8:33.4 en route.
Squaring off versus Cros-Lex, Imlay City dropped a 74-63 verdict.
Bannister (pole vault and long jump), Johnson (shot put and discus), Bandeira (110-meter hurdles) and Swartz (800
run) paced Imlay City with individual event firsts.
The Imlay City 400 (Goolsby, Roulo, Bannister and Bertram) and 3200-meter (Broecker, Andrez, Kustowski and Swartz) relays also registered top finishes.
