ALMONT — Almont outlasted Cros-Lex, 46-44, in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity girls' basketball matchup on Tuesday, February 6.
In Tuesday's matchup, Almont took an 11-10 edge after one quarter was over with.
The next two quarters would see Almont net 20 total points and Cros-Lex manage 17, leaving the former up 31-27 with 24 minutes gone.

Cros-Lex then put together an 11-7 fourth quarter rally, making it 38-38 at the completion of regulation play.
In the extra session, Almont amassed eight points and Cros-Lex hit for six. That left Almont with a 46-44 victory to celebrate at night's end.
Meredith Rinke (11), Grace Zimmerman (10, including a pair of trifectas) and Paige Walton (10) led Almont with double digit point totals. They were backed by Tyler Kautz (seven points), Jennifer Curtis (six) and Ashley Gibbs (two).
