IMLAY CITY — Chase McLendon, a former standout at Imlay City High School, is back for his senior season with the Defiance College (Defiance, Ohio) football team.
The 6-1 and 208-pound wide receiver will be looking to gain more playing time for Defiance College, a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, this upcoming campaign.
A year ago, McLendon saw action in three contests. He finished with two catches for 14 yards, including one reception that paid off with a touchdown.

Defiance College starts their 2017 campaign on Saturday, September 2 when it hosts Baldwin Wallace. That game lists a 1:30 p.m. starting time.
The following Saturday Defiance College heads to Hope College. Their encounter begins at 1:30 p.m. as well.
Defiance College is coming off a 5-5 campaign in 2016. That included a 4-4 showing as far as Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference clashes were concerned.
