TRI-CITY AREA — Dryden remained unbeaten on the 2016-17 campaign, registering a 51-36 road triumph against Capac in a non-league varsity boys' basketball meeting on Tuesday, January 24.
With the outcome, Dryden improves to 10-0 overall. Capac slips to 3-7 this season.
In Tuesday's meeting, Dryden and Capac concluded quarter number one with 12 points apiece.

The next eight-minute stretch saw Dryden generate eight points and Capac net six, good for a 20-18 lead at the half.
When the action resumed, Dryden started to pull away. Bolstered by a 16-7 third quarter edge, they went up 36-25 with 24 minutes gone.
Dryden then outscored Capac 15-11 over the final eight minutes of action, closing out a 51-36 win.
John DelCampo paced Dryden with 14 points, including a pair of trifectas. He was backed by Max Kage, Evan Pocius and Jared Czape (eight points each), Sean Riley (six), Trey Raab (a triple), Justin Knox (three) along with Sam Peyerk (one).
Trevor Boers (12 points, featuring a trey) and Andrew Sams (10) led Capac that evening. The Chiefs also received points courtesy of Jimmy Schroeder and Jordan Hellmuth (a trifecta apiece), Brent Boers and Jacob Parski (three each) plus Jacob Witt (two).
